Returns Policy
PRINTORIUM – RETURNS & REFUND POLICY
At Printorium, every item is 3D printed to order and checked before dispatch. We want you to be happy with your purchase, and if something ever goes wrong, we’re here to help.
We currently accept returns only for defective or faulty products.
1. What qualifies as a returnable issue?
We will accept a return or refund request if your item arrives with a manufacturing defect, such as:
- Structural damage or cracks
- Incorrect printing due to a production error
- The item differs significantly from the description or selected options
- Functionality issues caused during manufacturing
Because all items are printed to order, we do not accept returns for change of mind, colour or size chosen in error, or dissatisfaction with typical 3D printing characteristics.
2. How to report an issue
All defects must be reported within 14 days of delivery. When contacting us, please provide:
- Your name and order number
- Photos or video clearly showing the defect
- A brief description of the issue

We aim to review and respond within 2–4 business days.
3. What happens next
If a defect is confirmed, you may choose one of the following:
Replacement (Default Option)
We will reprint and resend your item at no cost to you.
Refund
A full or partial refund may be issued depending on the nature of the defect.
Return Request
In some situations, we may ask for the item to be returned for inspection. If required, we will give you instructions and may provide a prepaid return label. All returns must be sent back within 14 days of approval.
4. When returns are not accepted
We cannot accept returns or refunds for:
- Custom or personalised orders where details were supplied incorrectly by the customer
- Damage occurring after delivery (e.g. dropping, heat exposure, misuse)
- Minor aesthetic variations inherent to 3D printing (layer lines, surface texture, small colour differences)
- Items that show signs of use
- Issues reported after the 14-day window
Layer lines, slight surface marks and small colour inconsistencies are normal features of 3D-printed items and are not considered defects.
5. Shipping returned items
If a return is required, the item must be:
- Packaged securely to avoid further damage
- Sent with all originally included parts
- Tracked, if the return postage is customer-paid
Printorium is not responsible for return parcels lost without tracking.
6. Refund timeframes
Refunds are issued within 3–7 working days after the returned item is received and inspected.
Bank or payment platform processing times may vary.
7. Right to refuse
Printorium may refuse a return or refund if:
- The item is not defective
- The return deadline has passed
- Evidence of defect is insufficient
- Damage was caused after delivery or by misuse
